BOOM! Gowdy Slams Obama Administration For ‘Stonewalling’ In Hillary Scandal
More than just a few Americans are very upset that no consequential action has ever been taken against former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and the State department for their role in the deaths of 4 Americans during the Sept. 11, 2012 Benghazi attack.
Well Trey Gowdy has taken it upon himself to explain exactly why no punishments have been dealt out and it doesn't bode well for the Obama administration.
Trey Gowdy, the feverish Republican from South Carolina, has earned the nickname 'the Bulldog' for his aggressive interrogation style. In a recent Facebook post Gowdy explained that "the State Department has withheld documents and information about Benghazi and Libya from the American people’s elected representatives in Congress."
"Whatever the administration is hiding, its justifications for doing so are imaginary and appear to be invented for the sake of convenience," Gowdy continued.
Gowdy went on to accuse the White House of "stonewalling."
"That’s not how complying with a congressional subpoena works, and its well past time the department stops stonewalling," said Gowdy in regards to the White House.
Gowdy followed his tirade with the news release that the House of Representatives Select Committee on Benghazi, which he is chairman of, released.
Included in the news release is this exceptionally revealing portion:
"The Obama administration’s serial delays in producing documents total more than 10,000 days, the equivalent of over 27 years. Since (and including) New Year’s Eve, the committee has received more than 6,500 pages of documents from the State Department, including over 400 just last month."
What Gowdy has to say about Hillary and her repeated mistakes only serves to reinforce the fact that we cannot let Hillary go just because it has been a long time without real consequences.
This is when we must push the hardest to ensure that proper justice is indeed served and that this woman gets exactly what she deserves for her crimes.
