Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) considered a rising star by many within the Republican Party and perhaps a future presidential hopeful, has once again emerged has the eloquent spokesmen in defense of our national security and for the rule of law.

According to reports Gowdy has accused the Obama administration of refusing to enforce current immigration laws and defend the rights of American citizens.

Stating; “Today there are over 350,000 known criminal aliens in the United States who are not detained by ICE, 350,000!”

“That number may not get your attention, statistics rarely do, so I want you to think about it this way. The number of criminal aliens living in the United States, not in custody, not separated from society, it larger than the city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Larger than the city of Lexington, Kentucky, larger than the city of Anaheim, California,” he asked. “Can you imagine a city the size of Pittsburgh, comprised sole of people who are here unlawfully who have also committed another crime?”

Gowdy is perhaps just a handful of legislators who can eloquently frame an issue, encompassing both a masterful oratorical style with a salient understanding of constitutional law.

Obama’s executive actions are currently being challenged before the Supreme Court, and Gowdy is furious at Obama’s attorney’s deceptive arguments.
