Bible Page Fused To Steel From World Trade Center On 9/11 Has THIS Unbelievable Verse On It…
“Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.”
A firefight found that passage from the Bible, page and all, fused to a piece of steel that was once part of the Twin Towers.
As the world is well aware, those towers came crashing down on 9-11-2001. If it weren’t for the times we live in, this would pass away into the fog of memory, and remembered as anecdotally interesting. Perhaps by some that is all it will ever mean.
For the rest of us, we recognize that we are living in an age where the Christian is being hunted down and slaughtered. Radical Jihadists, whenever they can get their hands on a Christian do the most dastardly evil things to them.
“This shredded, burned and rubble-covered Bible came to me from the loving hands of a fireman who knew that I was the record keeper of ground zero,” Mr. Meyerowitz said. He went on, “My astonishment at seeing the page that the Bible was open to made me realize that the Bible’s message survives throughout time, and in every era we interpret its teaching freshly, as the occasion demands.”
In the end, good will overcome, and while we fight a war that looks to be the one that will end all wars, ultimately it will end. When it does, hopefully there will be some left among us capable of turning the other cheek.
