If there’s one thing the loony left does well, its pander constantly to African-Americans. And Bernie Sanders seems to have become quite proficient with the apology tour, instituted first by Obama then Hillary and now taking his turn ol Socialist Bernie himself.

During a recent appearance at Tindley Temple United Methodist church, Sanders apologized for slavery and promised reparations in the form of building up African-American communities.

“There’s nothing that anybody can do to undo the deaths and misery, how many people we don’t even know who died on the way over here in the ships,” Sanders commented.

“I think my view is pretty close to President Obama’s, and that is we understand the legacy of slavery,” he continued. “We understand that.”

“As everybody in this room knows, what we’re seeing in many African-American communities is outrageously high levels of unemployment, inadequate education, inadequate healthcare.” Sanders argued. “I think what we have got to do as a nation is invest in those communities who need that…investment the most.”

What seems apparent in Bernie’s remarks is that he realizes he needs to capture some of the African-American vote within those cities that have a high concentration of minorities such as New York City and other urban communities that would traditionally go to Hillary.

The irony of course is that the cultural ills Sander’s describes is a direct outgrowth of the failed liberal policies instituted in the late 60’s that continue today, of politicians using race and victimization and attempting to socially engineer through government handouts, rather than providing policies that promote and encourage personal achievements, through job training and education.

Do you think taxpayers should be on the hook to pay ancestors of slaves reparations or is the fact that slavery ended in 1865 make it irrelevant?
