Bernie Sanders Was In His 40’s Before He Earned A Paycheck, This Explains Why Millennials Relate To Him So Much
Bernie Sanders a 60’s flower child?
It seems long before ol Bernie was a politician he was a deadbeat hippie, who didn’t earn a steady paycheck until he turned 40, however some might also argue that being the longest-serving politician in U.S. congressional history, with little if any noteworthy achievements, might also entitle him as perhaps the biggest deadbeat in all of congress.
An article written within Investors Business Daily, titled “Bernie Sanders: The Bum Who Wants Your Money,” chronicles ol Bernie’s rise from a 60’s hippie to well…”a hippie senator.”
The article explains Bernie’s passion for Socialism, and further explains how his family couldn’t imagine his “success,” because “my brother and I and Mom and Dad grew up in a three-and-a-half-room rent-controlled apartment in Brooklyn, and we never had a whole lot of money.”
The article goes on to explain that Bernie tried a few different career paths and basically failed at all of them.
Friends described him as a “slob” and said his electricity was always turned off and he could rarely make rent.
The only thing he was good at was expounding the virtues of socialism and complaining about how American capitalistic greed was to blame for all poverty, everywhere.
Obviously not much has changed in Bernie’s life; he’s still gaming the system and has apparently fooled enough voters in Vermont to continue sponging off the tax payer; however being president requires hard work, and something that perhaps an old 60’s hippie like Bernie isn’t used to doing…”work!”
