Another Sheriff In NY Is Now Pushing For Citizens To Arm Themselves For This One Frightening Reason
Another Sheriff is joining the movement in telling constituents that it is time to be prepared to take the matter of your own self-preservation, and others around you, into your own hands.
Last week it was Joe Arpaio, Maricopa County, Arizona who urged concealed-carry permit holders to take their guns with them wherever they go.
We all know Milwaukee County (WI) Sheriff, David Clarke and where he stands on the issue.
A second New York sheriff, Sullivan County Sheriff, Michael Schiff, said;
“I concur with Ulster County Sheriff Paul Van Blarcum that licensed gun owners should carry their licensed handguns if they feel that they are comfortable and proficient enough to do so. They should also be familiar with State and local laws that govern firearms and the use of deadly physical force.”
Sheriff Van Blarcum went so far as to issue a call to arms via a Facebook post to those licensed to carry;
“In light of recent events that have occurred in the United States and around the world I want to encourage citizens of Ulster County who are licensed to carry a firearm to PLEASE DO SO.”
Each of these men also encourage off-duty/retired law enforcement to carry a gun, because as Sheriff Van Blarcum said,
“…we are the thin blue line that is entrusted in keeping this country safe, and we must be prepared to act at any given moment.”
This is not a joke people.
Our country is being informally deputized, and rightly so, and it can only be made better by the formal deputizing of more community citizens nationwide.
We can thank those in D.C. for putting this country in danger and now it may fall to us, the American citizen, as it did 239 years ago, to right our course.
Praise God that our nation’s sheriffs are seeing the handwriting on the wall and are encouraging Americans in exercising our rights and forewarning us that we may need to do so, something that we never would have dreamed would come to pass in our lifetime, or that of our children, but surely we are up to the task.
You should probably find out where your local law enforcement, and particularly your sheriff, stands on the matter.
