The fallout from the Wikileaks document dump that shook the Democratic National Committee (DNC) on the eve of its convention in Philadelphia continues to claim victims as the CEO became the latest official to resign in disgrace.

Amy Dacey, who had served as CEO for two years, joined DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz as a former employee, although Wasserman Schultz was hired by the Clinton campaign immediately after tendering her resignation the night before she was scheduled to gavel the convention into order.

Two other DNC department heads also resigned on Tuesday – Director of Communications Luis Miranda and Chief Financial Officer Brad Marshall.

The release by Wikileaks was timed to coincide with the opening of the convention to detract from the spectacle and the historic moment when Clinton became the first woman ever nominated for the presidency by a major party.

The emails revealed not only a nasty, snarky side of the DNC, but inappropriate language and strategies that substantiated the claims of Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders that the national committee, which is obligated to remain neutral and not favor one candidate over another.

Sanders had said that the system was “rigged,” and although in the end, he capitulated and endorsed Clinton, his supporters were outraged to read that the DNC discussed planting rumors that Sanders, a Jew, is an atheist in order to alienate voters in Southern primaries.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz was booed at a breakfast meeting of the Florida delegation, and she ended up taking the fall for the tone and tenor of the emails that circulated within the committee.

Now, with less than 100 days of hard campaigning remaining, and in the midst of negotiations for three debates between the candidates, the DNC is without a chairperson, CEO, CFO or communications director.

Wikileaks founder, Julian Assange, has said more documents will be released in the coming months timed to do the most damage to Clinton.

And the pundits say the Republican party was in disarray!
