Homegrown ISIS convert Justin "The Mujahid" Sullivan can plan on spending the rest of his life dreaming of 72 virgins behind bars.

Sullivan, 19, pleaded guilty to 1st-degree murder after he shot and robbed 74-year-old Bailey Clark in Burke County, N.C., so that he would have the money to acquire an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle.

Authorities say with that rifle Sullivan planned to slaughter 1,000 people in North Carolina and Virginia.

"As alleged in the complaint, the defendant was planning assassinations and violent attacks in the United States and is charged with attempting to provide material support to ISIL and federal firearms violations,” said Assistant Attorney General Carlin.

“The National Security Division’s highest priority is counter-terrorism and we will continue to pursue justice against those who seek to provide material support to designated foreign terrorist organizations,” he added.

Sullivan is the first American ISIS convert to go to jail for murder. He was already serving a life sentence for possession and delivery of an unregistered silencer to ISIL in June 2015.

Authorites say the bloodbath that Sullivan envisioned would freeze the conscience of any normal human being. But the media has remained mostly silent about the threat posed by ISIS on American soil as it might stop the flow of Muslims entering the country.

Recall the infamous words of George W. Bush that it would be necessary to fight Islamic extremism in Muslim lands so that terrorists wouldn't come into America and do all kinds of mischief.

Circumstances and U.S. foreign and immigration policy have put the lie to the former president and the mission that is nowhere near to being accomplished.

Far worse, the global war on terror has had the opposite effect of what we were told by our cake-walking neoconservative friends in Washington.

Western countries have been invaded by ISIS because we are pursuing regime change "over there," and because liberal immigration policy has allowed them entry.

Oddly, ISIS -- America's mortal enemy -- is also a subversive tool of Western foreign policy and our regional allies. We can expect little to no good to come out of such an explosive combination.

Are you concerned that more Americans will become ISIS converts? Do you think U.S. immigration policy is at fault? Tell us what you think in the comment section below.
