5 Year Old Undergoes Life Or Death Surgery On March 27th And He’s Asking For Your Help That Day – It’s Simple, Quick And Not About Money. Support Seth
Seth Lane is a innocent and sweet five year old boy who suffers from Severe Combined Immune Deficiency (SCID). This condition is also known as "bubble boy disease". He lives in a completely sterile environment but despite best attempts his health is still worsening.
On March 27th he will undergo a second bone marrow transplant procedure as a last attempt to live.
After the surgery Seth will need to spend months in his hospital room in a completely sterile environment. This would be tremendously isolating and hard for any adult let alone a small boy who will be devoid of physical touch and interaction.
This is where you can help support Seth in his struggle with this disease. He has asked the following with a huge sign he is holding up in this photo: (Seth's favorite color is yellow)
“I’m in hospital. I was born with no immune system. I need a second bone marrow transplant. On 27th March lots of people are going to wear yellow to show me how much support I have. Do you want to join in?
Post a picture of you wearing yellow to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram with #WearYellowforSeth.”
If possible help show Seth that he is not alone by posting yourself in yellow with the hashtag #WearYellowforSeth and share this post with friends and family to spread the support.
