BUSTED ON VIDEO! 3 Students Indicted For Falsely Reporting Racially-Motivated Assault
Watching this one surveillance video (minus the sound), becomes almost impossible to actually get a handle as to what is going on, except to note there’s one girl who appears to be African-American who’s at the center of the disturbance, throwing lots and lots of punches at male students, who are white, and apparently covering up and attempting to protect themselves from the onslaught.
However 20 year-olds Ariel Agudio, Asha Burwell and Alexis Briggs claimed that they were targeted in a racially motivated attack on January 30.
They told authorities that they were assaulted by a group of 12 to 20 people, including white men, while others hurled racial slurs and others stood by and did nothing.
However the 3 black University at Albany-SUNY students were indicted for allegedly lying about an incident on a university bus earlier this year.
The allegations sparked immediate outrage on campus and across the country. Hillary Clinton even gave her support for the girls.
Surveillance video from the bus tweeted, however, appears to show that the women were the aggressors and now they're facing assault charges.
Albany County District Attorney David Soares says that 12 cameras on the bus - including several that captured audio - prove that the women were the ones striking their fellow passengers and instigating the altercation.
Soares says that their claims of racial victimization are entirely fabricated. All three women pleaded not guilty at their arraignments Wednesday morning.
